Pilates
Pilates focuses on the deep postural muscles, aiming to strengthen the body from within and restore balance by aligning it correctly. It employs a methodical and controlled approach through low-impact exercises, seeking to enhance flexibility, stamina, and overall strength and endurance. I provide hands on technique guidance and correction. I also provide alternatives, adaptations and progressions to suit levels and client needs.
AeroTone
AeroTone is a class which combines aerobics and toning. I mix it up so its not constant cardio or constant toning. Interval Training. Everything is easy to follow and designed to be easy to adapt and great to help build and challenge fitness levels. You can keep it low impact, do squats instead of lunges, march it out or you can push by increasing your intensity and effort, adding bands etc. Great music to move and sing along to and you will work your full body. Please feel free to bring light handweights to add extra upper body work.
Zumba & Zumba Gold
Experience the energy of a Zumba class, a dynamic dance fitness session set to the beat of Latin American and international music. This invigorating workout includes dance moves inspired by Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and more. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, there's no right or wrong way to do it – make it your own, enjoy the fun, and feel the exhilaration! Zumba Gold (Easy Movers) are fun and friendly classes and designed for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.
Legs, Bums n Tums
BodyTone emerges as the ultimate toning and conditioning class, encompassing Legs, Bums, and Tums. This low-impact session incorporates bodyweight exercises alongside the use of bands, balls, gliders, and hand weights, providing both variety and challenge. Specifically designed to tone and shape your abdominal area, legs, thighs, buttocks, and arms, BodyTone ensures a comprehensive workout experience. To accommodate diverse fitness levels, I offer a range of exercise options, adaptations, and different intensity levels, allowing you to either challenge yourself or progress gradually. As we target muscle toning, this class is especially beneficial to over 40 year olds who may be noticing their bodies are beginning to lose muscle mass and strength.
CardioBox
Jab, cross, hook and kick to the beat. Cardio Box lets you combine punching and kicking combos to dance music that makes you sweat and sculpt the entire body. Its a fun, easy to follow workout - great stress relief!, similar to Body Combat workouts but easier choreography and low impact.
Stretch, Flex, Mobilise
Lovely class to finish the week. Mat based class looking to improve/maintain flexibility, mobility, posture, balance and core strength. We start with standing work and then come on to the floor for the rest of the class. Can offer alternatives and progressions where appropriate. Friendly relaxed class. If looking to loosen hips, shoulders, hamstrings. Maintain and improve balance, mobility and overall flexibility this is the class for you.
