Hello, I'm Kirsty! I’m a busy mum of three and passionate about Pilates and Group Fitness classes such as Zumba. My journey in the fitness world began in my 20s as a side gig, but soon became my full time job after becoming a Personal Trainer, Sports & Swedish Masseuse, Certified Bowen Therapist, and Certified Pilates Instructor.
I began teaching back in the 90’s in the world of g-string leotards and legwarmers :-) with aerobics, step and circuits. Then came BTS with Body Pump and Body Combat. I then discovered Pilates and then in 2009 joined the Zumba family. Basically if it involves moving to loud music I’m there! I firmly believe in enjoying life. I'm not one to advocate for extreme nutrition plans or crazy diets. It's all about finding balance and enjoying your life to the fullest. Let's face it, who can resist a glass of wine, some crisps and dip, or a yummy slice of cake? Moderation is key, and exercise can help you enjoy life's little pleasures while also giving you a body that is fit and mobile.
All my fitness classes take place out in the community in church halls. These non-intimidating spaces provide the perfect environment for a diverse and friendly group of people. It's more than just a class; it's a community. Aside from a non-intimidating environment, classes are PAYG with no waiting lists as big halls have plenty room for all. Only pay for what you use.
