Pilates
Pilates is a low-impact exercise, with slow controlled movements. It is designed to improve overall body awareness and posture, to strengthen the important core muscles which support your back and pelvis and increase your strength, mobility and flexibility. I provide hands-on technique correction and guidance and offer alternatives and progressions where appropriate.

Zumba
Zumba is fun....its the type of exercise you'll want to do everyday, and feel good about doing it! Zumba Gold is a gentler paced low impact version ideal for the older client or where you are new to exercise.
It is a fun and effective, full body aerobic workout. Dance to Latin and international music, burn calories and improve your fitness. There are no right or wrong moves in Zumba. Its about getting your body moving and having fun while doing so.

Legs, Bums & Tums
Legs, Bums & Tums is one of those original exercise classes that is still popular today. It is an all-round toning and conditioning class. Low impact bodyweight exercises where we also bring in bands, balls, gliders and hand weights for variety and challenge. A great class to tone and shape your tummy, legs, thighs, butts and arms. I always give exercise options and adaptations as well as different levels so you can challenge yourself, or build up gradually. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

AeroTone
A true all round exercise class. Mixes easy to follow aerobic tracks with standing toning tracks. Not constant cardio or constant squats :-) so it works like interval training to build aerobic fitness, strength and mobility. Toning exercises are bodyweight and you can bring light handweights to add extra upper body work. We also bring in bands for extra strength work. Good music, good energy and fun too. Easy to make low impact or adapt exercises to suit.

CardioBox
First thing - don’t be scared of this class. Yes we punch and kick however - its low impact with options to take it high. It’s non-contact. The punch combos are easy to follow and great for toning your upper body and core. The kicks are optional - can do knee lifts or squats instead. Above all this class is a very cathartic workout - who doesn’t have something (or someone) they could visualise punching! Works your cardiovascular fitness, toning and mobility, and burns calories. Easy to adapt and suits all levels of fitness.

Zumba Gold / Easy Movers
Low impact aerobic dance class designed to have simpler choreography but still challenge the brain and body. Focus is to improve cardiovascular fitness, bone density, mobility, balance and above all mental health. A fantastic bunch attend these classes (and all others) - very friendly and welcoming and, as with Zumba, we don’t care about getting all the moves right, we just care about moving and having fun while doing so.
-
Stretch
Fabulous class to end your week with. Suitable for all levels of fitness and easily adaptable to work around any injuries, dodgy knees, shoulders etc. A mix of standing and floor stretches, and mobilising moves. There are elements of yoga along with developmental stretches and moves designed to improve mobility and balance. A class which will challenge, and relax you.

Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is a very effective bodywork Therapy where gentle moves are performed over muscles and soft tissue, stimulating the nervous system to reset and heal.
Frequent pauses between moves allow the body to process the messages and commence healing. By combining moves, the practitioner can either benefit the body as a whole or target a specific problem. Bowenwork affects all systems within the body and initiates change at a cellular level. Bowenwork is appropriate for new-borns to the elderly. Results can be remarkable, even from the first session.
Hello, I’m Kirsty
I AM A LEVEL 3 PILATES INSTRUCTOR, FITNESS AND ZUMBA INSTRUCTOR, AND CERTIFIED BOWEN THERAPIST.
My journey in the fitness world began in my 20s as a side gig, but I followed my dream to make it my full-time job and became a Personal Trainer, Sports & Swedish Masseuse, Certified Bowen Therapist, and Certified Pilates Instructor.
I’ve taught for over 25 years now (yikes!) from starting in aerobics, step and circuits, then through BTS with Body Pump and Body Combat and then Pilates and Zumba. I firmly believe in enjoying life. I'm not one to advocate for extreme nutrition plans or crazy diets. It's all about finding balance and enjoying your life to the fullest. Let's face it, who can resist a glass of wine, some crisps and dip, or a delicious slice of cake? Moderation is key, and exercise can help you enjoy the treats as well as give you the vital tools you need to have a healthy body and mind.
All my fitness classes take place in the community in church halls. These non-intimidating spaces provide the perfect environment for a diverse and friendly group of people. It's more than just a class; it's a community.
